🔐 Discount Codes & Passworded Tickets

How to use a Discount Code with a passworded ticket.

You can use Discount Codes and Passworded Tickets together to create exclusive ticket offers for your customers. 🎟️🔓

This is particularly useful if you want to make a discounted ticket available only to customers who have a specific code.

🔒 Set up your Passworded Ticket

First, you'll need to create your passworded ticket.

For help with setting up a passworded ticket, see our guide:

Once your passworded ticket is set up, you can create your Discount Code.

🎟️ Create your Discount Code

To use a Passworded Ticket and Discount Code together, the Discount Code must be exactly the same as the password you've set for the ticket.

For example:

Password: SUMMER25
Discount Code: SUMMER25

⚠️ Important: The code must match exactly for the customer to unlock the ticket and receive the discount.

For help with creating Discount Codes, see our guide:

🔓 What does the customer see?

Once both the Passworded Ticket and Discount Code have been set up, the customer can enter the code into the promo code box on your event listing.

When the correct code is entered:

🔓 The passworded ticket will be unlocked
💷 The discount will be applied
🎟️ The customer can then purchase the discounted ticket

💡 Tip: Using a matching password and Discount Code is a great way to create exclusive offers for specific audiences while keeping the discounted ticket hidden or restricted.
