🎟️ How to Set Up Group Offer Tickets

Create promotional group offers to encourage customers to buy multiple tickets by offering a discount. 🎉🎟️

Group offers are a great way to drive ticket sales by giving customers a better price when they purchase multiple tickets together.

⚠️ Important: Make sure the ticket face value correctly reflects the discount and that each customer receives their own individual bar-coded ticket.

This guide uses a 4 for the price of 3 offer as an example, but the same process can be used for other group offers.

⚙️ How Do I Set Up a Group Offer?

To get started:

  1. 🖥️ Select the event you want to add the offer to.

  2. 🎟️ Click Manage Tickets.

  3. 👀 Select View Tickets.

  4. ➕ Click Add Tickets.

1️⃣ Clearly Explain the Offer

Make sure your ticket name and description/conditions clearly explain what the customer is getting.

For example:

4 for the price of 3

Other offers could include:

  • 🎟️ 2 for the price of 1

  • 🎟️ Buy One Get One Free

  • 🎟️ Other discounted group offers

Customers should be able to understand the offer before purchasing.

2️⃣ Set the Minimum & Maximum Purchase

Set the minimum and maximum number of tickets per order to match the number of tickets included in your offer.

For a 4 for the price of 3 offer:

  • Minimum: 4

  • Maximum: 4

To set this:

  1. ⚙️ Open Advanced Options.

  2. 🛒 Go to Minimum & Maximum Purchase Amount.

  3. 🔢 Enter the required number of tickets.

This ensures customers can only purchase the specified number of tickets at the discounted price and, importantly, that each attendee receives an individual ticket with a unique barcode.

3️⃣ Calculate the Correct Face Value

You'll need to calculate the face value of each ticket so the total reflects the discount you're offering.

💷 Example: 4 for the Price of 3

If your standard ticket is £5:

3 tickets × £5 = £15

You want customers to receive 4 tickets for £15.

So:

£15 ÷ 4 = £3.75

Your group offer ticket should therefore have a £3.75 face value.

When the customer purchases 4 tickets:

4 × £3.75 = £15

This gives each attendee their own ticket while maintaining the correct overall offer price.

💡 Tip: Make sure your ticket allocation is divisible by your minimum/maximum purchase amount.

ℹ️ Note: Purchasing different quantities of tickets may result in different booking fees.

🔐 Consider Password Protection

If your group offer is part of a specific promotion, you may want to make the ticket password protected.

This can help ensure that only customers with the relevant password can access the offer.
