You can cancel a whole Session Based Event, specific Dates, or specific Sessions following this article. Remember that cancelling will trigger face value refunds for all affected customers and it is your responsibility to ensure Skiddle has the funds to do so.
You need to log into your account via the promotion centre here. From here click on the name of the Session Based Event you are wishing to cancel. Once selected click on Manage Event on the left-hand side of the page, then click Cancel (shown below).
Read the instructions displayed and if happy, click Continue.
Select whether you wish to cancel entire days or specific sessions, then select the dates and/or sessions you wish to cancel, then click Next step.
Note: If cancelling specific sessions you can only do this one date at a time. If cancelling whole days you can cancel multiple at once.
Confirm the correct dates and/or sessions have been selected for cancelation. Enter the reason for cancelling your event (this will be displayed to customers), then click Next Step.
Read over the preview of the email that is going to be sent out to customers. Once happy click Confirm cancellation of X Sessions.
Check the final details in the confirmation modal and number of Sessions being cancelled. If everything is ok, click Confirm cancellation.
You have successfully cancelled the selected Sessions from your Session Based Event.
Skiddle will then receive notification of the cancellation.
Refunds are processed automatically* within 48 hours on working days. Refunds for cancellations made over the weekend will be processed the following working day.
*Please note, if you have opted to use Stripe as your nominated payment processor, refunds will be requested within the timeframes outlined above and it will be your responsibility to ensure funds are available to process any refunds required.
