❌ How to Cancel Your Event Series

Need to cancel your whole Event Series or specific dates within an Event Series? You can manage this directly through the Promotion Centre. 👇


⚠️ Please note: Cancelling an event or date will trigger face-value refunds for all affected customers. It is your responsibility to ensure Skiddle has sufficient funds available to process these refunds.


🚀 How to Cancel Your Event Series

To cancel dates from your Event Series:

  1. 🖥️ Log in to the Promotion Centre.

  2. 🎟️ Click on the Event Series you wish to cancel.

  3. ⚙️ Select Manage Event from the left-hand side.

  4. ❌ Click Cancel (shown below).

📋 Read the instructions displayed and, if you're happy to proceed, click Continue.


📅 Select the Dates to Cancel

You'll then be able to choose which dates you'd like to cancel.

  1. ☑️ Select the date or dates you want to cancel.

  2. ➡️ Click Next Step.

3. 📝 Enter the reason for cancelling.

4. ➡️ Click Next Step.

💡 Please note: The reason you provide will be displayed to customers, so make sure it's clear and appropriate.


📧 Review & Confirm Your Cancellation

Before cancelling, you'll be able to review the dates you've selected and preview the email that will be sent to affected customers. 👀

  1. 📅 Check that the correct dates are selected.

  2. 📧 Read through the customer email.

  3. ✅ If everything looks correct, click Confirm Cancellation of X Dates.

  4. 🔍 Review the final confirmation message, including the number of dates being cancelled.

  5. ❌ Click Confirm Cancellation.

Your selected dates have now been successfully cancelled. 🎉

Skiddle will automatically receive notification of the cancellation. 🔄


💰 What Happens to Customer Refunds?

Refunds are processed automatically within 48 hours on working days. 💷

Weekend cancellations: Refunds for cancellations made over the weekend will be processed on the following working day.

💳 Using Stripe?

If you've selected Stripe as your nominated payment processor, refund requests will still be made within the timeframes above.

However, it is your responsibility to ensure sufficient funds are available to process any refunds required. 💰
