To postpone your event, head to the Promotion Centre here. From here click on the name of the event you are wishing to cancel. Once selected click on Manage Event on the left-hand side of the page, then click Cancel / Postpone (shown below).
Select 'Postponed (Recommended)'. From here you have 2 options. Enter your new date, or postpone your event TBC (Date not yet confirmed). If you select Choose a new date using the calendar select the new date of the event.
Click 'Next Step'.
Next, enter the reason for postponing the event (this will be displayed to customers).
Handling of Refunds:
When an event is cancelled or postponed customers are entitled to a refund should they wish.
Select how many days customers can claim a self-service refund.
Once those days have passed select how you'd like refund requests to be managed, whether that be by yourself or by our Customer Support team.
Once you have selected your options click 'Next Step'.
Have a read over the preview of the email that will be sent out to customers and once happy click 'Confirm Event Reschedule'.
Customers will be notified of the postponement by email and if you have stated your new date, the email will include an options link, one of which allows them to refund their order.
Tickets will be moved over to the new date within 24 hours of the postponement. If the event is postponed on the weekend, the tickets will be moved the following Monday, providing Monday isn't a Bank Holiday.
