This article is for cancelling regular, one-off events. For cancelling Event Series click here and for cancelling Session Based events click here. Remember that cancelling will trigger face value refunds for all affected customers and it is your responsibility to ensure Skiddle has the funds to do so.
To cancel your event, You need to log into your account via the promotion centre here. From here click on the name of the event you are wishing to cancel. Once selected click on Manage Event on the left-hand side of the page, then click Cancel / Postpone (shown below).
Select 'Cancelled' and click 'Next Step'.
In this box enter the reason for cancelling your event (this will be displayed to customers)
Click 'Next Step'
Read over the preview of the email that is going to be sent out to customers. Once happy click 'Confirm event cancellation'
You have successfully cancelled your event.
Skiddle will then receive notification of the cancellation.
Refunds are processed automatically* within 48 hours on working days. Refunds for cancellations made over the weekend will be processed the following working day.
*Please note, if you have opted to use Stripe as your nominated payment processor, refunds will be requested within the timeframes outlined above and it will be your responsibility to ensure funds are available to process any refunds required.
