When you log into the Promotion Centre, you'll be taken directly to your Events Dashboard. From here, you can view performance metrics such as event views, tickets sold, and create custom ticket groups for easier data analysis.
Event Performance Graph Overview
At the top of your dashboard, you will see a graph displaying your event performance over time.
What the Graph Shows:
Event Views – the number of times your event page has been viewed.
Tickets Sold – the number of tickets sold during a given period.
Choosing a Date Range
In the top right corner of the graph, you can select the time period you want to view.
Available Time Period Options:
Last 7 Days (default)
Today
Yesterday
Custom
Using the Custom Date Range:
Select a custom time frame or specific start and end dates.
Choose how you'd like to group the data (e.g. by day, week, or month).
Customising What Stats Are Displayed
You can toggle between data sets using the Event Views and Tickets Sold buttons directly above the graph.
How It Works:
Clicking a button will hide that data set from the graph.
When a button is selected (and the data is hidden), it will appear struck through.
Example: If "Tickets Sold" is struck through, only Event Views will be shown on the graph.
When using the custom date range option you can also select how you would like to group the selected dates also shown below.
Using the <Event Views>
and <Tickets Sold>
buttons you are able to control what stats are shown on your graph. Once you have clicked on one of the buttons it will be shown as striked out. For example: on the screenshot above tickets sold has been selected so it is only showing event views on the graph.
Custom Stats
Using Custom Stats and Ticket Groups
To better understand sales across different ticket types, you can create Custom Ticket Groups.
How to Create a Custom Ticket Group:
Click the Custom Stats button on the right-hand side of the event's graph.
Click Create Custom Group.
In the Add Group popup:
Use the dropdown ticket selector to choose one or more ticket types.
Enter a name for your group in the Tag Bar.
Click Save to create the group.
Example:
If you’re selling multiple types of early bird and general admission tickets, you can group all early bird tickets together for easier tracking.
Here is an example of how it might look:
Once you have added your tickets group, they will keep up to date automatically as tickets are sold. You can go back and add more tickets to these groups at any time.
The progress bar underneath the number of tickets will show the percentage of your tickets sold when hovering your mouse over it.
The groups that you have set up will reflect in the Rapidscan app. For more information on our Rapidscan app see our article HERE.
