Skiddle allows you to organise virtual events, meaning customers can take part from anywhere. To make sure they know how to access your event, you can add pre-event instructions during your event setup.
💻 How Do Virtual Events Work?
When listing a virtual event, you can choose whether it is available:
🌍 Nationwide – anyone can take part.
📍 Specific area – only customers within the selected area can take part.
You can also provide customers with important information and links they need to join your event.
📝 How Do I Add Pre-Event Instructions?
You can add your instructions during Step 5 of the event setup or edit them after your event has been created.
To add or edit your instructions:
🖥️ Go to your Events Dashboard.
🎟️ Select the event you want to manage.
⚙️ Click Manage Event on the left-hand side.
✏️ Select Edit Event Visibility.

🔗 What Can I Include?
You can use the pre-event instructions section to provide customers with any information they need before joining your virtual event.
For example:

📋 Important information about the event
🔑 Passwords or joining details, where applicable
These instructions are sent to customers 60 minutes before your event.

Once you've added or updated your instructions, click Publish to save your changes.
