Waiting List gives customers the opportunity to join a queue for tickets when an event is sold out. If additional tickets become available, we'll automatically offer them to customers on the waiting list on a first-come-first-served basis. π«β³
π How Does Waiting List Work?
When your event sells out, Waiting List is enabled automatically. Customers can then add themselves to the queue and wait for tickets to become available.
Additional tickets can become available when:
ποΈ You release additional tickets.
π A customer lists their ticket for resale through Re:Sell.
When tickets become available, they're offered to customers on the waiting list in the order they joined. π₯
β° How Long Do Customers Have to Claim Tickets?
When tickets are allocated, customers receive alerts via:
π± SMS
π App Push
π§ Email
Customers then have 20 minutes to claim their allocated tickets.
Their tickets are safely reserved in their basket during this time. π
Any tickets that aren't claimed within the 20-minute window will be offered to the next customer on the list or released back to the public if the waiting list has been exhausted.
