Booking fee

The booking fee is paid to Skiddle by the customer. As standard, the booking fee is 10% of the face value plus 25p.

Please below for an example of how booking fees are calculated and applied to tickets on sale:

If you had a £20 ticket, the booking fee would be £2.25.

  • Promoter earns £20

  • Customer pays the booking fee of £2.25

Commission

A commission is when the promoter opts to pay the booking fee to Skiddle on behalf of the customer. The rate paid is the same as applied to a customer, 10% of the face value plus 25p.

Promoters may choose the commission option as it is a good promotional tool, appealing to customers and highlighting tickets as 'Booking Fee Free'.
