Barcodes from other agents can be imported to Skiddle for use with our RapidScan app.
Third-party or agent barcodes are ticket barcodes generated by third-party ticket agents such as Ticketmaster, See Tickets, Eventbrite or Dice.
We have introduced a new feature to import these orders and their associated ticket barcodes into the Promotion Centre, meaning the tickets can then be scanned into the event using our RapidScan app, along with any ticket allocation sold directly on Skiddle.
The Agent Barcode feature can be found by heading to the Customers/Orders tab in the Promotion Centre.
How to Import
The first step is to get the export from the other ticket agent's system.
Format the export file to match our import template (available from the Agent barcodes page in Promotion Centre, shown below)
3. Save the formatted version as a .csv file
4. Select the correct ticket agent from the dropdown
5. Upload the .csv export file by pressing 'Upload CSV'
6. Click 'Preview barcodes'
7. Confirm the tickets and orders in your upload are correct
8. Click 'Confirm and upload'
Please note: allocated seating, event series and session events are not supported.
Please note: Depending on the size of your import, this may take some time to process. We recommend no more than 2,500 rows at a time. If you have more tickets to import, you can upload them in batches.
