You can import barcodes from other ticket agents into Skiddle and use them with our RapidScan app. 📲
Third-party or agent barcodes are ticket barcodes generated by other ticketing platforms, such as Ticketmaster, See Tickets, Eventbrite or DICE.
Our Agent Barcode feature allows you to import these orders and their associated ticket barcodes into the Promotion Centre. Once imported, these tickets can be scanned into your event using RapidScan, alongside any tickets sold directly through Skiddle. 🎟️📱
📍 Where to Find Agent Barcodes
You can find the Agent Barcodes feature by heading to the Customers/Orders tab in the Promotion Centre.
📥 How to Import Agent Barcodes
Before you begin, you'll need to export the relevant ticket data from the other ticket agent's system.
Once you have your export file:
📄 Format the export file to match our import template, which is available from the Agent Barcodes page in the Promotion Centre. (Shown Below)
💾 Save the formatted file as a
.csvfile.🎟️ Select the correct ticket agent from the dropdown menu.
📤 Upload your CSV file by clicking Upload CSV.
👀 Click Preview Barcodes to review your upload.
✅ Check that the tickets and orders in your upload are correct.
🚀 Click Confirm and Upload to complete the import.
⚠️ Important Information
Please keep the following in mind when importing agent barcodes:
🪑 Allocated seating is not currently supported.
🔄 Event series are not currently supported.
📅 Session events are not currently supported.
⏳ Depending on the size of your import, processing may take some time.
📊 We recommend uploading no more than 2,500 rows at a time.
If you have more than 2,500 tickets to import, you can upload them in separate batches. 📥🎟️
