Pricing Bands allow you to charge different ticket prices across Dates within an Event Series. This is particularly useful if you have peak and off-peak pricing or different prices depending on the date.
✅ Before You Begin
Your event must meet the following criteria:
📅 Your event is an Event Series with multiple Dates.
⏰ Your Event Series has multiple timed sessions per Date using Session Based Ticketing.
💷 You want to charge different prices for tickets on different Dates.
🆕 Creating a New Event
1. Set Up Your Event Series
Set up your Event Series with timed sessions as required, following the usual event creation process.
2. Create Your Pricing Bands
When you reach Step 4, where you would normally add your tickets, you'll have the option to create up to 3 Pricing Bands before adding your tickets.
💡 Please Note: The Standard Pricing Band is required and will be set as the default. You can change the default later from the Pricing Bands tab on the Event Dashboard.
You must have a minimum of 2 and maximum of 3 Pricing Bands to continue.
3. Add Your Tickets
Once your Pricing Bands have been created, add your tickets as normal.
You will need to enter a price for each Pricing Band you've enabled.
For example:
Ticket | Standard | Peak |
Adult | £10 | £15 |
Child | £5 | £8 |
4. Manage Your Pricing Bands
Once created, you can manage your Pricing Bands from the Pricing Bands tab on the Event Dashboard.
From here you can:
✏️ Edit Pricing Bands
🗑️ Delete Pricing Bands
⏸️ Deactivate Pricing Bands
⭐ Change the default Pricing Band
➕ Adding Pricing Bands to an Existing Event Series
If you already have an Event Series with timed sessions, you can add Pricing Bands from the Event Dashboard.
1. Open the Pricing Section
Navigate to the Peak/Off-Peak Pricing tab on the Event Dashboard.
2. Add a New Pricing Band
Click the + icon to add a new Pricing Band.
3. Choose Your Pricing Band
Select a name for your Pricing Band from the available options.
💡 Top Tip: Pricing Band names are only used internally for managing your event in the Promotion Centre. Customers will not see the Pricing Band name — they will only see the associated ticket price.
4. Add Your Prices
Enter the prices for all open existing tickets.
5. Confirm
Click Confirm to save your new Pricing Band.
You can then apply it to your Dates using the steps below.
📅 How to Apply Pricing Bands to Dates
Once your Pricing Bands are set up, you can apply them to individual Dates within your Event Series.
1. Open the Sessions Calendar
Navigate to the Sessions Calendar tab on the Event Dashboard.
2. Select Your Date
Click the three-dot menu on the Date you want to update.
Select Apply Pricing Band.
3. Choose Your Pricing Band
Select the required Pricing Band from the dropdown menu.
4. Confirm Your Prices
Check the prices shown in the confirmation window.
If everything looks correct, click Confirm.
💡 Example: Peak & Off-Peak Pricing
Let's say you run an attraction every weekend:
🟢 Off-Peak: Monday–Thursday — £10
🟠 Peak: Friday–Sunday — £15
You can create separate Pricing Bands and apply the relevant one to each Date in your Event Series.
This means you can manage different prices across your Dates without creating separate ticket types for every price variation.
