How do I use the Sessions Calendar?
Updated over a week ago

To get started on setting up Sessions Based Ticketing, please click here.

On the event dashboard for a Session based event, there is a tab to manage sessions, called the sessions calendar. (shown below)

On desktop, all sessions taking place over a week will be displayed and the user can navigate forward or backward a week via the arrow above the calendar. On mobile, a single day of sessions will be displayed at a time due to limited screen space.

This page allows for various edits to your sessions, including adding new session times, editing capacities and closing sessions.

Let's first look at creating a new session:

  • Click the plus icon on a date and time where a session is currently not taking place.

  • On the pop up window, simply select what the capacity is for your new session. Any existing ticket types will be applied to the session, including whether they affect capacity or not. You also have the option of hiding the new session from the public listing, in case you aren't yet ready to sell for this session.

Next, let's take a look at the options for editing your current sessions:

  • Hover the mouse over a session you would like to edit/view to see 3 icons

  • The first icon shows a breakdown of sales and how those sales are affecting the capacity of the session.

  • Clicking the second icon allows for the following options: Amending capacity, hiding (keeping on sale, but hidden from the public) and closing a session.

  • The third and final icon allows you to delete a session. Clicking on this icon brings up the following window:

  • Click "Delete session" to confirm.

Finally, we have the overall day options, which can be accessed by clicking the three vertical dots next to a date:

This allows for a variety of options to quickly edit a full days worth of sessions. Please note that some of these options may not be available if the day you are trying to edit already has sessions that have had sales.

It is also possible to create 'Add on' tickets for your sessions, allowing for additional purchases to be made for customers to use/redeem at your events. For more information on how 'Add on' tickets work and how to use them on your Session Based events, please click here.
