♿ What Is the Skiddle Access Scheme & Personal Assistant Ticket?

Everything you need to know about the Skiddle Access Scheme and Personal Assistant Tickets.

At Skiddle, we want everyone to be able to enjoy the events they love and have a smooth experience from the moment they book. ❤️

Our Skiddle Access Scheme helps customers with disabilities access the support they need when attending events, including making it easier to obtain a Personal Assistant ticket.

♿ What Is the Skiddle Access Scheme?

The Skiddle Access Scheme is designed to make attending events more accessible for customers with disabilities.

Customers who require a Personal Assistant to attend an event with them can use the scheme to request a Personal Assistant ticket alongside their own event ticket.

This means customers can access the support they need without having to contact promoters separately to arrange a ticket.

💡 Our aim: We want all promoters using Skiddle to provide relevant accessibility information for their events and make Personal Assistant tickets as easy as possible for customers to obtain.

🎟️ What Is a Personal Assistant Ticket?

A Personal Assistant ticket is a free or discounted ticket provided to a customer who has a disability and requires a carer or Personal Assistant to accompany them to an event.

The ticket is offered alongside the customer's own ticket and allows their Personal Assistant to attend with them.

📄 What Evidence Is Required?

When applying for a Personal Assistant ticket through Skiddle, customers will need to provide supporting evidence.

Accepted evidence includes:

  • 📄 Front page of DLA / PIP — no specific rate required

  • 📄 Front page of an Attendance Allowance letter — no specific rate required

  • 👁️ Evidence of being registered severely sight impaired (blind)

  • 🦮 Recognised Assistance Dog ID card

  • 💳 Credibility's Access Card

Once the evidence has been provided and approved, a Personal Assistant ticket can be issued. 🎟️
