Legacy Promotion Centre Retirement timeline
Legacy Promotion Centre Retirement timeline
Updated over 7 months ago

Our new Promotion Centre has been available since 2020, and contains many upgrades, improvements and new features. We've recreated this platform from scratch, based on feedback from promoters on what improvements they would like to see.

There are some areas of Legacy which have not yet been transitioned over (for example reporting) and these are currently being worked on. You will be able to continue accessing these until they are made available in the new Promotion Centre.

Areas such as adding and editing events and tickets will soon be retired, meaning you'll no longer be able to access them in Legacy. All event and ticketing management should be done via the new Promotion Centre.

By ending support on certain legacy features, this ensures we can focus our efforts on the new platform, rolling out new features faster.

There are features not yet available in the new Promotion Centre, will they be restricted?

No, we will only be restricting features which have been available in the new Promotion Centre for some time and are stable.

Why am I being forced to use the new Promotion Centre?
Our new Promotion Centre has been running for over 3 years now. Initially this was only open to a small number of promoters, but it's now been available to all for some considerable time. Most features in the new Promotion Centre are stable and recommended for everyday use (there are a few new features marked as 'Beta')

The vast majority of our promoters are using the new Promotion Centre, so we need to ensure we can focus our efforts on supporting the new platform moving forward.

We recently surveyed new Promotion Centre users to ask how easy they found it to use. Over 83% answered either Very good or Excellent.

We realise some promoters may be accustomed to using Legacy. We have created lots of helpful tutorial videos to help get you started on the new Promotion Centre.

Is this still in 'Beta'?
Our the new Promotion Centre has been available for over 3 years, so any initial bugs have been quickly resolved. The Promotion Centre is no longer in Beta. We are confident at this point that the new Promotion Centre is more stable and quicker to use than Legacy.

There may be some small features available within the new Promotion Centre which are marked as "Beta". This indicates they have been released recently and may still be subject to changes/updates based on promoter feedback. If you don't feel happy using beta products, you can choose to not use these areas until they have their Beta tag removed, if you prefer.

If you need to report any issues, you can click on the Intercom chat button (bottom left) at any time to connect to our team.
