💺 Rows of seats

Rows are the building block of theatre, comedy and concert layouts. Draw one row or a whole block, then curve or angle it to match your room. Label every row and seat so customers can find their way.

🍽️ Tables

Great for gala dinners, cabaret nights and comedy clubs.

  1. Choose the Table tool and pick round or rectangular.

  2. Click on the canvas to place it, then set how many seats go round it.

  3. Give each table a label, like "Table 1".

You can sell a table seat by seat, or as one booking for the whole table. If you sell the whole table as one ticket, the buyer gets one ticket for their group rather than one per guest.

🛋️ Booths

A booth is a single bookable space, perfect for VIP booths or private boxes. Customers book the whole thing in one go.

🕺 Standing areas

Got a standing pit in front of your seats? Use the Area tool to draw it, give it a label and set its capacity. Customers can then buy a standing ticket and a seated ticket from the same chart.

♿ Accessible seating

Mark wheelchair spaces and companion seats on your chart so customers who need them can see where they are. If you use the Skiddle Access Scheme, keep a seat for each Personal Assistant next to the space it goes with. You can also take these seats off sale and release them on request; see Adding seated tickets to your event.

❓ Common questions

Can I reuse a chart? Yes. A chart belongs to its venue and can be used for every event there. Need a slightly different layout? Duplicate the chart and edit the copy.

Can I build on my phone? We recommend a laptop or desktop. The designer works best with a mouse and a big screen.
