Black Friday & Cyber Monday
Updated over 2 months ago

Looking to get the edge on the competition this Black Friday and Cyber Monday?

We’ve created a single, unique code for event organisers to use across two of the UK’s busiest retail and e-commerce sales dates – Friday 29th November (Black Friday) and Monday 2nd December (Cyber Monday).

To get involved, simply visit the Skiddle Promotion Centre, create a discount for your chosen event using the code BLACKFRIDAY24, and share it with your customers. We suggest offering a 20% discount to your customers, as data from past years shows this rate delivers the best conversion results.

If you’ve never used our discount code feature before, don’t worry. Our How-To video gives you a visual, step-by-step guide on how to set them up.

So, why should you offer discounts on your tickets this Black Friday and Cyber Monday?

Good question.

A recent YouGov survey found that 72% of people said that discounts and deals motivated them to shop during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Offering discounts is also said to influence people to buy even if they hadn't initially intended to make a purchase.

What's more, our Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals are time-sensitive, with discounts only available across 4 days. This adds a sense of urgency. Customers are more likely to choose your event and buy tickets if the extra value of a discount is added to it.

Every discounted event will also be promoted through our Black Friday and Cyber Monday marketing campaign and included in our customer newsletter, sending news of your event to the inboxes of over half a million subscribers. Discounted events will be shown on our dedicated ‘Inspire Me’ pages located on the Skiddle homepage, seen by 6.5 million monthly visitors and promoted via social media.

Don’t miss out on the chance to take advantage of increased sales in the lead-up to the fast-approaching festival season, event visibility and customer loyalty across Black Friday and Cyber Monday with our promotion this year.
